Welcome to Event Ease Party Rentals! These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the rental of our equipment and the use of our website, located at eventeaserental.com.
By accessing this website, booking our equipment, or paying a rental deposit, you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not proceed with your booking.
Important: Specific rentals may also be subject to a separate rental agreement, invoice, or order confirmation. If there is a conflict, the signed or written rental document for that order controls for that transaction.
1. Booking, Payments, and Authorization
- Live Booking & Communication: By initiating a checkout form on our site, you acknowledge that our third-party tracking scripts (such as CartStack) securely register your cart progress. You consent to receive transactional booking reminders via email or SMS regarding your incomplete orders.
- Payment Terms: All bookings must be secured with a valid credit card. Full payment or a designated deposit is required at the time of reservation to officially lock in equipment for your selected dates. Payments may be processed by third-party processors; their terms also apply. Late payments may incur fees or collection costs where permitted by law.
- Identification: Event Ease Party Rentals reserves the right to request a valid photo ID upon delivery to verify the identity of the person signing the rental agreement.
- Orders & Accuracy: Quotes are invitations to order and do not guarantee availability until we confirm your booking. You agree to provide accurate event date, venue address, access instructions, and contact information.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
- Standard Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to the scheduled event date will receive a full refund of any amounts paid, minus a processing fee.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date will forfeit their deposit or be issued a company store credit at our sole discretion. No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 72 hours of delivery.
- Contact us as early as possible if your event changes. Rescheduling is subject to inventory and schedule availability.
3. Weather and Safety Policy
- Inclement Weather: Tents, inflatables, and electronic gear cannot be safely used or erected during high winds (exceeding 20 mph), severe thunderstorms, lightning, or heavy snow.
- Right to Cancel for Safety: Event Ease Party Rentals reserves the right to cancel or postpone an installation if weather conditions pose a physical safety hazard to our crew or your guests. If we cancel due to severe weather prior to setup, a full credit or refund will be issued.
- No Post-Setup Refunds: Once rental equipment (such as tents, tables, or chairs) is successfully delivered and set up, no refunds or discounts will be issued due to subsequent rain, wind, or altered event plans.
4. Delivery, Setup, and Breakdown
- Site Preparation: The customer must ensure that the setup area is completely clear of debris, lawn furniture, pet waste, and underground hazards (such as sprinkler lines, gas lines, or septic setups) before our arrival.
- Staking Clearance: Setting up tents requires driving heavy stakes into the ground. It is the customer's responsibility to clearly mark all underground utilities or sprinkler lines. Event Ease Party Rentals is not liable for damage to underground lines that were not explicitly marked.
- Delivery Windows: We handle delivery, setup, and breakdown. While we strive to meet requested delivery windows, setup schedules are approximate and subject to traffic, route optimization, and weather delays.
- Access: You are responsible for ensuring safe and legal access for our team and vehicles (driveways, gates, paths, permits where required). You represent that you have authority to allow installation at the venue. Additional charges may apply for difficult access, wait time, or re-delivery caused by inaccurate information or site conditions.
5. Equipment Condition, Damages, and Liability
- Proper Use: All rental equipment must be used strictly for its intended purpose. No open flames, cooking, barbecuing, or fireworks are permitted under or within 20 feet of rented tents or bounce houses. You may not sublease, alter, or move certain items without our consent. Follow manufacturer instructions and any safety guidelines we provide, including weight limits, weather restrictions, or supervision requirements for inflatables and similar items.
- Damage and Loss: The customer assumes full responsibility for the security and care of the rental equipment from the time of delivery until our crew breaks it down. The customer will be billed the full retail replacement or repair cost for any gear that is lost, stolen, or damaged (including severe stains, tears, burns, or broken frames), beyond ordinary wear.
- Liability Waiver: The customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Event Ease Party Rentals, its owners, and employees against any and all claims, actions, damages, liabilities, or injuries arising out of the use, setup, or teardown of the rented equipment, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Event Ease and our team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from your rental or use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific order is generally limited to the amount you paid us for that order, except where New Jersey law requires otherwise (including injury or death caused by our negligence, or other non-waivable rights).
6. Website and Third-Party Tools
Our site may include booking widgets, carts, or payment flows operated by third parties (for example, Booqable and CartStack). Those services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We may link to other sites (including Event Ease Balloon Décor NJ); we are not responsible for third-party content or services.
7. Intellectual Property
Content on this site (text, graphics, logos, and layout) is owned by Event Ease or our licensors and may not be copied or used without permission except for personal, non-commercial viewing.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our services and equipment are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties where allowed, except those that cannot be disclaimed under New Jersey law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Morris County, NJ, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have.
10. Changes to These Terms
Event Ease Party Rentals reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Any revisions will be logged by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for future use. Confirmed orders remain subject to the Terms in effect at confirmation unless we agree otherwise.
